About Mac Daily

Contact & takedown

Corrections and takedown requests are welcome and handled in the open. Here is how to reach us and what to expect.

Request a correction

If a figure, a date or a claim looks wrong, tell us. Include the article, the passage and the source that supports the correction. Every correction we make is appended to the article and to the public corrections log, never edited away.

Report an error

If we published something wrong, tell us. An editor reads every report; nothing is changed automatically. Corrections are appended to the article and to this log — we never quietly rewrite what we published.

Use the last part of the article address: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.

Use a web address beginning with https:// or http://.

Only so we can ask a follow-up question. You do not need to give one.

Takedown and right-of-reply

If you are named in a report and believe it is inaccurate, or you hold rights in quoted material, send the article URL and the specific concern. Negative factual claims about named parties already pass human review before publication; a well-founded request is acted on promptly.

How to reach us

Requests go to the registered contact published in our imprint: Macadamia SA I B.V., Kapelweg 34, 3951 AD Maarn, The Netherlands.

Response-time commitment

We acknowledge correction and takedown requests within two business days and record the outcome — including a material correction — in the corrections log.
