Every article is produced by our automated newsroom. How this works

Syndication

Partner programme

National macadamia associations may republish Mac Daily coverage of their own region, free of charge. The licence below is non-exclusive, costs nothing, and is revocable on thirty days’ notice if its attribution or canonical-link terms are not met.

What each tier permits

TierPermits
WireFull-text republication of Mac Daily coverage of announcements, events and data originating in your own region, with the attribution and canonical link below.
DigestSummaries and links, not full article text. The monthly digest of coverage tagged to your region, for your own newsletter and members.
WidgetEmbeddable Index charts on your own site, updating from our published data, carrying a visible link back to the figures they come from.

What every republication must carry

These are conditions of the licence, not preferences. A republication missing any of them is outside its terms.

  • The original publication date, displayed above the fold.
  • The exact attribution string on your registry record, displayed above the fold and unaltered. A variation needs the publisher-of-record’s approval first.
  • A hyperlink back to the article’s URL on mac-daily.com.
  • A rel="canonical" tag on your copy pointing to the Mac Daily original — or, where your CMS cannot add canonical tags, the copy set to noindex.

Republication in any language is permitted, including your own translations, provided the translation is labelled as yours and carries the same attribution and canonical link.

Embedding our figures

Widget-tier partners can put a live Index chart on their own site. It reads published data from our cache, never from our newsroom, so it keeps working whether or not we do. The embed guide has the snippet and the versioning policy.
