Australia's annual 2024 UN Comtrade import preview lists 375,000 kg of in-shell macadamias against Guatemala and 495,418 kg of shelled macadamias against Viet Nam. These are net-weight entries in a statistical dataset, not counts of shipments or evidence of current stock.

The South Africa row adds 62,370 kg of shelled macadamias. HS 080261 covers macadamias fresh or dried in shell; HS 080262 covers macadamias fresh or dried shelled. Keeping those product forms separate matters when comparing these trade-partner rows.

All three named foreign-partner rows are flagged isAggregate=True and isReported=False. Their net-weight fields are not flagged as estimated. This report excludes the World, Australia-self and Areas, nes entries from its named-partner comparison; it does not claim that the remaining rows describe a complete market or establish market shares.

The reference period is calendar 2024, not the current trading year. The preview was freshly retrieved for this report, but its publication date is not established. Kilograms here do not supply a moisture standard, a crop total, a price or a shipment schedule. Buyers still need current supplier and consignment evidence before making purchasing decisions.

The lead now clearly contrasts a brown shell and ivory kernels, with a non-documentary qualification. All original article prose, source limitations and dates are preserved.

Previously: The prior bowl-of-kernels illustration omitted the in-shell form central to this bounded historical import comparison.
